Blessings, by Jennifer Sevin-Sullivan

by Jennifer Sevin-Sullivan

Sometimes the greatest blessings are in the simplest things.  It is not uncommon for me to make a mental list of what is positive in my life, just to bring me to center.

However, oftentimes better than my own input, is the random information shared by the inspirational, kind, and loving people around me.

A Major Life Change, Lauren McGowan

by Lauren McGowan

In a couple weeks, I will be moving on to Beachwood.  I will be leaving my comfort zone of Sam’s Club, and going to move to Beachwood.  As a Sam’s Club greeter for two and a half years I realized that I’m not going anywhere in the company.  I really need to find something more challenging and meaningful.  That’s why I’m looking forward to Beachwood, so they can train me to do a more meaningful job.

My Ticket To Freedom, by Marcia Boring

By Marcia  Boring

My wheelchair broke down for 9 months.  I felt trapped.  It took 9 months to get my new wheelchair.  My new wheelchair has everything I need.  It can lift and it will tilt.  It has independent suspension, which is very important to me.  It gives me the freedom I need and want.  Wherever I want to go, my wheelchair gets me there.  What wasn’t possible before, it’s possible now.

My plan, with my new wheelchair, is to get to Alaska.  Nothing is going to stop me from getting there.  The limitations that once were, are no more thanks to my wheelchair.  I’m despaired, but I will make it happen.
